 SOUTH Norwood's pilot of the Clocktower Market was hailed a success, with many stalls selling out of stock as crowds flocked to shop there.  Committee member, Rachel Gould, 36, helped organise the eight-stall event at Aldi's car park in Station Road on Saturday, November 21.  She said: "It was really good. We had people arriving from when we opened and a steady stream all day. So many people came up to us thanking us for the day and complimenting the mix of stalls we had." 

Many stalls had sold out by 2pm, including popular Caribbean food shop Jerky Fridays.

The Ackee & Saltfish is to die for!  Simply sublime! We ordered a feast for Xmas day and we weren't disappointed...The Saltfish Fritters had the right amount of kick to them and the Fish Mix was gorgeous.  My only note is I would've liked more gravy with the mix but otherwise overjoyed to have used Jerky Fridays...You won't be disapointed;
